Patent Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Patent Engineer to assist in patent research, drafting, prosecution, and technical analysis of inventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or technology, along with an understanding of intellectual property (IP) laws and patent processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct prior art searches, patentability assessments, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Draft patent applications and technical descriptions in collaboration with inventors and attorneys.
• Assist in responding to office actions and examiner queries during the patent prosecution process.
• Analyze competitor patents and emerging technologies to provide strategic IP insights.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify patentable innovations and strengthen the company s IP portfolio.
