Panel Design Engineer

The candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in developing PLC-design documents for system architecture Electrical/Control Schematics, Panel Layout Diagrams, and BOM.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations :

• Perform design and develop documents like Power Schematics, Control Schematics, Industrial control /power Panel Design, GA drawing, Panel Layout and Loop Diagrams.
• Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware. Develop panel layouts GA and BOM as per standards.
• Develop Bill of Material and process through SAP is advantage.
• Candidate must be worked on Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC.

Key Deliverables :

• On-time delivery on project deliverables at 95%: Candidate must submit required documents to lead engineer for review before or on time of set delivery date. On a scale of 0-100%, each missed day will be a deduction of 1%.
• First-pass submittal of 95% accuracy: The candidate must ensure that the checking of his work has be done from lead peer or supervisor. After Lead engineer checking is completed, each mistake found counts as 1% deduction of 100%. Duplication mistakes count as 1%
• Communication: Assumptions shall not be made. Candidate must contact NAM EI if task or work instructions are not clear.

Qualification Requirements and Characteristics :

• 8 years of experience specifying and applying electrical and controls equipment in water treatment process plants.
• Expertise with AutoCAD Electrical Bentley
• Expertise with Low Voltage System design in North America, including UL508A, NFPA 70, UL698A, UL913, CSA 22.2, NFPA 497, NFPA 820 and ANSI schematics.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, problem solving, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to make good business decisions, to speak effectively before groups, including customers, and other as well as the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
• Self-motivated, ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD Electrical, SAP.
• Ability to travel for extended periods of time for bubble assignments, field support and meetings across the globe.

Engineering Degree - Electrical Engineering

Minimum 8 years Panel design in Experience of Water, Wastewater, Power, Oil & Gas or related Industry.
