Outsystems developer

Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and implement low-code applications that drive business innovation. This role is crucial for leveraging the OutSystems platform to ensure rapid development and smooth operations, contributing significantly to business objectives through expert analysis, development of applications, implementation, and troubleshooting within the OutSystems domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and deliver high-quality web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code development platform.
• Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business users and analysts to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and OutSystems solutions.
• Solution Design: Design efficient and scalable OutSystems architectures, including data models, user interfaces (UI/UX), business logic, and integration patterns.
• Integration: Implement integrations with external systems, databases, and APIs using OutSystems connectors, extensions, and web services.
• Customization & Extension: Develop custom extensions (e.g., C# or Java) when native OutSystems functionalities require advanced capabilities.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Debug and resolve issues within OutSystems applications.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and implement solutions to optimize the performance, scalability, and security of OutSystems applications.
• Deployment & Maintenance: Participate in the deployment of OutSystems applications across environments and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for OutSystems applications, modules, and integrations.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within agile teams, collaborating with other developers, testers, and project managers.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• OutSystems Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Low-Code Development: Solid understanding of low-code development principles and best practices.
• Web Technologies: Familiarity with web application concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to software development challenges.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical solutions and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. OutSystems certifications are highly desirable.
