Direct Responsibilities

Work independently in application development / support / enhancements / bug-fixing.
Utilize understanding of design principles in creating custom software solutions or modifying packages solutions
Be a part of IT team to develop and contribute to initiatives that transform and modernize the capabilities and services of the Compliance and Trade Compliance function.
Work with Compliance to identify appropriate models to cover various scenarios and validate existing setup.
Ensure adherence to Bank and information systems policies and procedures, security measures and audit standards.
Mentor junior team members on the technology & processes front.
Share knowledge and skills with others within the team from time to time.
Prepare high quality test plans and conduct the tests at Unit, Regression, Integration, Code reviews.
Ensuring that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development life cycle and day to day development work.

Contributing Responsibilities

Contribute towards knowledge sharing initiatives and upskilling of other team members.
Contribute to development/Writing of Technical Specifications document, Test plan, and Test Cases

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Excellent Knowledge & Understanding of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and any other RDBMS
Good Knowledge & Understanding of data modelling and Performance Tuning.
Strong PL/SQL programming skills. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of PL/SQL code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code.
Ensure data integrity and security within the database.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
Create and manage database objects like tables, views, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Develop and maintain database schemas.
Proficiency in Oracle SQL with advanced functions implementation.
Experience with database design and development
Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques
Understanding of data structures and data modeling
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Identify and resolve database performance issues.
Tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code for optimal performance.
Profile server resource usage and optimize as necessary.

Experience and knowledge of Python language features like basic data types, functions
Experience in using built in collection types [for example: sequence types, dict, sets].
Experience in using text manipulation facilities like regex, string methods from the standard library.
Experience in reading and manipulating various file types like XML [using standard module like Element Tree], JSON, CSV.
Familiarity with using context managers.
Familiarity with date manipulation using modules like datetime.
