Oracle JDE Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
• Configure and implement JDE EnterpriseOne (or World) modules such as:
• Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Procurement (P2P)
• Manufacturing (Shop Floor, Product Data Management)
• Sales & Distribution (Order Management, Inventory)
• Translate business needs into JDE functional designs and configuration settings.
• Develop functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces.
• Support full lifecycle JDE implementation or upgrade projects including design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct user training, workshops, and prepare user documentation.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide production support to resolve functional issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate and test enhancements, interfaces, and workflows.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a JDE Functional Consultant.
• Expertise in at least one JDE module area (Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Procurement).
• Strong understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture, data flow, and configuration.
• Experience with JD Edwards CNC, UBE, Orchestrator, and Reports is a plus.
• Knowledge of business processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator, UX One, or CafeOne.
• Familiarity with integrations between JDE and external systems (e.g., EDI, BI tools).
• JDE certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Specialist) is a plus.
• Prior experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, distribution, or logistics.
• Ability to lead cross-functional workshops and support change management activities.
