Oracle Database Administrator 3

Duties of Position:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration of 11i and R12 applications with Database 11g & 12c
• Strong working experience in monitoring, performance tuning, and production support
• Experience managing very large, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle databases
• Expertise in major versions of the Oracle tech stack including:
• Database
• iAS
• Forms
• Reports
• PL/SQL
• Java
• Enterprise Manager
• SOA
• WebLogic
• JVM
• Hands-on experience with AD utilities including ADPatch and Autoconfig
• Experience in database installations and upgrades
• Proficient in ASM and Data Guard setups
• Experience in database backups and recovery using Data Guard
• Ability to develop scripts for task scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance
• Knowledge in RAC (Real Application Clusters) is a plus
• Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend/on-call support
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
