Database Monitoring

4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration of 11i and R12 applications with Database versions 11g & 12c.
Strong working experience in monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.
Experience in managing large-scale, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle Databases.
Expertise across major versions of the technology stack including:
Oracle Database
iAS
Forms & Reports
PL/SQL
Java
Oracle Enterprise Manager
SOA
WebLogic
JVM
Hands-on experience with tools/utilities:
ADPatch
AutoConfig utility
AD utilities
Experience with Database Installations and Upgrades.
Hands-on experience with ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and Data Guard.
Strong knowledge of database backups and disaster recovery using Data Guard.
Ability to develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance.
Exposure to RAC (Real Application Clusters) is an added advantage.
Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend on-call support.
Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external customers.
