Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, optimization, and maintenance, ensuring the reliability and performance of our Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases.
• Monitor database performance and tune databases as necessary.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies for data integrity.
• Manage database security and user access controls.
• Perform regular database maintenance and upgrades.
• Assist in database design and architecture planning.
• Provide support for database-related issues and assist in troubleshooting.
• Document database processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and features.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques.
• Understanding of backup and recovery procedures in Oracle.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
