Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Data Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and data solutions using Oracle database technologies. The candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable and efficient data integration and transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Oracle database technologies
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Oracle databases and data warehouses
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity
  • Support data migration, replication, and synchronization tasks
  • Work with big data tools and cloud platforms as needed for data integration
  • Automate routine data engineering tasks using scripting languages
  • Document data processes, data models, and technical specifications
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies

Required Skills:

  • 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database technologies (Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, or similar
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
  • Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate or other data replication technologies is a plus
  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certifications such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional
  • Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark) or cloud data services
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
