Oracle ATG Commerce Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle ATG Commerce applications according to business requirements.
• Design and implement e-commerce features such as catalog management, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management using ATG components.
• Develop custom modules, repositories, droplet components, and pipelines in the ATG platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support deployment activities.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ATG Commerce, including integrations with payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and third-party services.
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and code changes.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle ATG features and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle ATG Commerce development.
• Strong Java programming skills and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with ATG components such as Dynamo, Nucleus, Droplets, Repositories, Form Handlers, and Pipelines.
• Knowledge of web technologies including JSP, Servlets, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing SQL queries (Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Understanding of e-commerce business processes and online retail workflows.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
