Oracle APEX Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using Oracle APEX.
• Write efficient PL/SQL and SQL code to support application functionality and data manipulation.
• Customize APEX components (pages, forms, reports, charts, etc.) based on business needs.
• Integrate applications with third-party APIs or services as required.
• Optimize performance of APEX applications and underlying database queries.
• Develop and manage interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, and provide ongoing support and enhancements.
• Ensure application security, access control, and compliance with development standards.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (version 19.x or later)
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database concepts
• Experience developing web applications with interactive reports, forms, charts, and dynamic actions

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery within the APEX framework
• Experience with RESTful Web Services, Oracle ORDS, or integration with external APIs
• Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Fusion (if applicable)
• Exposure to DevOps tools, version control (Git), and Agile methodology
• Basic understanding of authentication methods (SSO, LDAP, OAuth)
