Operations Manager - Stamping (Electrical Terminals)

We are seeking an Operations Manager - Stamping (Electrical Terminals) to lead our end-to-end stamping operations. This critical role involves managing production, optimizing tool performance, overseeing secondary operations, and ensuring high-quality output for electrical terminals.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end stamping operations for terminal manufacturing.
• Manage production planning, execution, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure timely tool maintenance, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Handle secondary operations like tapping, welding, and tinning related to terminals.
• Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications and validation approvals.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Manage project transitions from engineering to production.
• Develop and manage vendors related to stamping operations.
• Maintain high quality standards and implement good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Skills Required

• 15-20 years of experience in stamping operations, specifically for electrical terminals.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed progressive die stamping.
• Experience in tool maintenance and tool debugging for precision terminal dies.
• Exposure to Bruderer, Aida, SEYI, or similar high-speed presses.
• Should have worked in companies like Molex, TE Connectivity, Motherson, Aptiv, Yazaki, etc.
• Ability to interface with customers, quality, and engineering teams.
• Proven leadership in managing large shop floor teams.
