Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive strategic initiatives for improving service offerings and customer support.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to enhance cost control, profitability, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to quality audits and customer feedback.
  • Lead Kaizen efforts to define key quality metrics and improve sigma quality levels.
  • Collaborate with Client Relations leadership to ensure delivery commitments are met and proactively improve productivity.
  • Develop and coach a cohesive operations leadership team.
  • Provide training, feedback, and support to hourly employees to meet objectives and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with all departments to align master production schedules with company volume expectations.
  • Develop detailed business cases and financial models for proposed operations improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the operations budget and ensure compliance with expenditure requirements.
  • Conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure alignment with company's mission, vision, and operational priorities.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.
  • Supervise and participate in safety, quality, delivery, and cost-related meetings.
  • Address engineering design issues related to manufacturing processes and production needs.
  • Manage value analysis studies to optimize department and facility needs.
  • Supervise inventory control, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and union contracts, as applicable.
  • Implement safety and pollution prevention programs.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team engagement.
