Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy & Process Optimization:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Standardize operations to ensure consistency and quality across all departments.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Manage and lead a team of operational staff, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and create development plans for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
  • Budget & Financial Management:
  • Oversee the department's budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help improve profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to financial and operational targets.
  • Project Management & Execution:
  • Oversee and manage key projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operational projects.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and resolve any issues that arise during execution.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational activities.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on operational performance to senior management.
  • Use data to make informed decisions and recommend improvements based on performance insights.
  • Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure that products and materials are available when needed, while minimizing excess stock.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure that all inventory-related processes adhere to company policies and regulations.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure that corrective actions are taken when needed.
  • Customer Service & Client Satisfaction:
  • Work closely with the customer service department to ensure customer satisfaction and address any operational issues that impact the customer experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery processes to meet customer expectations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, HR, and finance, to align operations with organizational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive team and operational staff to communicate strategic goals and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role (5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of operations, supply chain management, and process optimization.
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance improvement.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with business management software (e.g., ERP systems, project management tools).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budget oversight.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of successfully leading teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet and exceed goals.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly present information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
