Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Standardize operations to ensure consistency and quality across all departments.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and lead a team of operational staff, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and create development plans for team members.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
- Budget & Financial Management:
- Oversee the department's budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help improve profitability.
- Ensure adherence to financial and operational targets.
- Project Management & Execution:
- Oversee and manage key projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operational projects.
- Maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and resolve any issues that arise during execution.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational activities.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on operational performance to senior management.
- Use data to make informed decisions and recommend improvements based on performance insights.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure that products and materials are available when needed, while minimizing excess stock.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Ensure that all inventory-related processes adhere to company policies and regulations.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure that corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Customer Service & Client Satisfaction:
- Work closely with the customer service department to ensure customer satisfaction and address any operational issues that impact the customer experience.
- Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery processes to meet customer expectations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, HR, and finance, to align operations with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between the executive team and operational staff to communicate strategic goals and initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role (5+ years).
- Strong understanding of operations, supply chain management, and process optimization.
- Experience managing teams and driving performance improvement.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with business management software (e.g., ERP systems, project management tools).
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Solid understanding of financial management and budget oversight.
- Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of successfully leading teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet and exceed goals.
- Communication Skills:
