We are seeking an experienced OpenSearch Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search technologies, particularly OpenSearch, and will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust search solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OpenSearch clusters for optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and optimize search queries, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of the search service.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective OpenSearch solutions.
• Implement security features and best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in OpenSearch and related technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience in search engine technologies, with a strong focus on OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Proficient in data modeling, search optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Experience with data ingestion tools and ETL processes to populate search indexes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
