Oil & Gas SBU Head/Plant Head

The O&G SBU Head/Plant Head is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the precision machining operations within the O&G Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in precision machining, strategic planning, and operational management to drive excellence and innovation in our manufacturing processes.

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the companys overall business objectives and long-term goals.
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential risks to drive growth and sustainability.
• Lead the SBU in achieving financial targets, operational KPIs, and other performance metrics.

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the precision machining facility, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure the facility meets all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them achieve their professional goals.

Financial Management:

• Manage the SBUs budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
• Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate forecasts and financial reports.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Represent the SBU in meetings with senior management, providing insights and recommendations on business strategy and operations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and delivering high-quality products on time.

Innovation and Technology:

• Stay abreast of technological advancements in precision machining and aerospace manufacturing.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the SBUs capabilities and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree in field. An MBA or advanced engineering degree is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 18 -25 years of experience in precision, large machining operations within the machine manufacturing, Oil & Gas machining, Nuclear & Thermal components manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and complex operations.
• Strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
