Observability SRE

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain observability platforms including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems.
• Implement and optimize metrics collection using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain centralized logging infrastructure (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Google Cloud Logging).
• Implement distributed tracing solutions using Jaeger, Zipkin, AppDynamics, or OpenTelemetry.
• Automate observability workflows and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze telemetry data to identify system issues, performance bottlenecks, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Provide training, documentation, and best practice guidance to teams on observability and monitoring.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new observability tools, technologies, and practices.
