Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

• experience in Network Design, Implementation and support
• Responsible for creating High level Network design, Low level design, Implementation Plan, migration plan, testing plan for the new projects. Validating the existing design and provide recommendations for optimization
• Expertise knowledge in Cisco Products (Nexus 7K,5K.2K, Cisco 6500 switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points and Cisco access switches 3750, 2960)
• Expertise knowledge in Juniper Products ( EX Series Switches and MX Series Routers)
• Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing Major Network issues (Priority Medium to Critical)
• Work collaboratively with Customer L3 team and TCS internal towers to identify and fix complex issues
• Participate in MIM (Major Incident Management) Calls and provide solution/ update on a timely manner
• Provide appropriate guidance to L1/L2 team
• Technical co-ordination with the OEM support in the event of any Technology assistance
• Update Training and Support documentation

Good-to-Have

• CCNP / CCIE Certification
• ITIL Certified or a Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and change Management disciplines.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• An ability to lead the Network Engineering team
• Involve in technical discussion with the customer for new technology innovations.
• Ensure that network devices are maintained and configured as per the security standards
