Nurse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Address patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise
• Provide professional nursing care within the Emergency Department and coordinate care planning with other disciplines
• Work under sustained pressure and during stressful situations
• Maintain open communication with physicians to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy for all residents and staff
• Be ready to address a resident's significant status change
• Serve as House Supervisor on staff to ensure staff always have someone to call with questions or concerns
• Troubleshoot problems and/or issues regarding patient/family care, visitors, and facility issues on off shifts and weekends
• Support policy adherence and provide disciplinary measures as needed
• Demonstrate professionalism and consistently model excellent customer service skills
• Monitor and facilitate smooth and timely patient flow to ensure customer satisfaction and process efficiency
