Nicu Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Continuously monitor vital signs such as heart rate, respiration, oxygen saturation, and temperature of neonates.
• Handle and manage ventilators, CPAP machines, incubators, and other NICU medical equipment.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and nutritional support as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist doctors during NICU procedures, emergencies, and routine medical interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, nursing notes, and treatment documentation.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure a sterile and safe environment within the NICU.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to parents and family members regarding neonatal care.
• Coordinate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare staff for effective patient care.
