New Technology Engineer R&D

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to drive the development of new energy technologies and products. The role focuses on thermodynamic cycle design, component optimization, prototyping, and validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research partners to deliver innovative solutions for sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cycle Design & Optimization:
• Prepare heat and mass balance diagrams for complete cycles (steam, organic rankine cycle).
• Optimize cycles and finalize technical specifications of key components.
• Develop a deep understanding of rotating components such as compressors, expanders, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Vendor & Technology Management:
• Evaluate technical offers from vendors and finalize components in collaboration with them.
• Understand technology development projects from prototyping to final execution.
• Develop small-scale test setups for concept validation, design, execution, and testing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Cooperate with all functions within project development.
• Collaborate with national and international research partners.
• Innovation & R&D Contribution:
• Participate in new technology concepts, prototyping, and full-scale solution development.
• Contribute to research and development of new STG products.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1-4 years of experience in cycle development and component finalization for new technology development.
• Strong technical know-how in thermodynamic cycles and process flows.
• Proven track record of completing interdisciplinary R&D projects in a global environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• B.Tech / M.Tech from IITs or other premier institutes.
