Network Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in L3 networking protocol testing, including the design and execution of test plans for routers and switches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on testing of L3 networking protocols on switches and routers.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and work closely with the development team on resolutions.
• Participate in release activities including regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Use Linux systems for test setup and execution.
• Leverage Python for test automation (if applicable).
• Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills:

• L3 Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, ARP, DHCP, QoS, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, NAT, VRRP, STP
• Testing Experience on Switches/Routers
• Test Plan Creation and Execution
• Defect Management
• Linux OS (Working Knowledge)
