Network Security Palo Alto Checkpoint Fortinet

The role focuses on hands-on deployment, management, and migration of Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) devices, along with implementing security policy automation and cloud integrations. The engineer works on projects of diverse complexity, exercises independent judgment, and may lead team activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage NGFW devices such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint.
• Architect and manage firewall management tools like FortiManager, Panorama, Checkpoint SPLAT/Smart Domain Manager.
• Use firewall migration tools (FortiConverter, Expedition) and scripting for policy migration.
• Implement security policy and automation tools like AlgoSec or FireMon.
• Integrate firewalls with public/private cloud environments and microsegmentation tools like VMware NSX-T.
• Maintain knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL).
• Stay current with security measures and industry advancements.
