Network Security Engineer

Mandatory Skills:

• 4-7 years of experience in Network Security domain. 
• Mentor and guide security engineering team. 
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN connectivity, TCP/IP, web protocols and network related cyber-attacks. Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stack, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, SMTP/IMAP, FTP, HTTP etc.) 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, NW, DevOps, Risk) to drive secure practices. 
• Ability to conduct an in-depth analysis of computer networks and identify any vulnerabilities or gaps in the system. 
• Understanding of common attacks (e.g. brute force, SYN flood, session hijack, smurf etc.) and their snort signatures 
• Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls, IDS/IPS, Firewall Analyzers, Azure Firewalls, NSGs, Application gateways, WAF etc. 
• Previous exposure to Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems, and Networks 
• Knowledge on network assessment/recon tools like nmap, angry IP, metasploit etc. 
• Must have excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Must be able to clearly articulate and propose security solutions in business terms. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced
