Network Security Engineer

Job description

• Understanding of OSI model and debugging network traffic

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Network Access Control

• In-depth knowledge in LAN, WAN and supporting networking technologies

• Expertise in different VPN technologies including site-to-site and remote access VPNs

• Hands on experience with Audit for Firewalls configurations and ACLs

• Monitor and take appropriate action from network alerts generated from tools.

• Experience using firewall security orchestration and automation tools

• Ability to convert and review firewall policies

• Conducting network forensics and network log analysis

• Networking protocols (TCP/UDP, BGP, DNS, DHCP)

• Security. Strong knowledge in security fundamentals: authentication/authorization frameworks (e.g., SSO, SAML, Oauth), secure transport (e.g., SSL, TLS), identity management (e.g., certificates, PKI)

• Firewall policies

• NAT policies

• Routing

• VPN

• Application identification issues [App-ID]

• Logging and Monitoring

• Understands industry standards such as PCI DSS, PA DSS, PCI PTS, etc. and technologies used to collect, Experience with configuring next gen firewalls from Palo Alto, VMware NSX and Cisco
