Network Data and security Network Roating & Switching

Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, configure, and maintain robust and secure network infrastructure, focusing on routing and switching components for data and security networks.
• Routing & Switching Configuration: Administer and troubleshoot complex routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel) across various network devices.
• Network Security Implementation: Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs) to protect data and network assets.
• Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth analysis of network issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolution for complex network and security incidents.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network configurations to ensure high availability, low latency, and efficient data flow.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure network designs and implementations adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., server, application, security operations) to ensure seamless integration and support for various IT services.
• New Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new network and security technologies to improve performance, scalability, and security posture.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of network data and security principles.
• Expertise in Network Routing & Switching protocols and technologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network security devices (e.g., firewalls, VPNs).
• Ability to perform complex network analysis, development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
