Net App Storage Manager

• Storage Management: Manage huge storage environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• System Maintenance: Ensure storage systems are up to date from an OS version standpoint and actively mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Operational Management: Provide operational management, technical maintenance, and upgrades to the storage architecture.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues efficiently.
• Vendor Interaction: Interact with vendors and partners for support or sales-related activities.
• DR Replications: Implement and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) replication solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting for storage systems.
• ITIL Implementation: Understand and implement the ITIL Framework in storage and VMware infrastructure support.
• 24x7 Support: Be available for 24x7 support and rotational shifts.

Required Expertise

• Storage Platforms: Expertise with various storage technologies, including NetApp, Dell VNX / Unity / PowerStore, and HPE Nimble Storages.
• SAN & Networking: Expertise in SAN (Brocade) switch configurations and knowledge of Fibre Channel and iSCSI connections from Unix and Windows hosts.
• NetApp ONTAP: Expertise in ONTAP 7-mode and C-Mode / ONTAP Cluster Mode-9.
• Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with Linux / Oracle Linux operating systems, and proficiency across all OS platforms, including Windows, VMware, Citrix, and Linux.
• Storage Virtualization: Expert on storage virtualization technologies and server technologies, with knowledge of Windows and Linux Virtualization from a storage perspective.

Preferred Skills

• Hyper-Converged & Cloud Storage: Experience on Hyper-Converge and Cloud Storage will be preferred.
• Cloud Storage Services: Knowledge of Storage Services offered within AWS and Azure Cloud will be preferred.
