Music Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through dynamic and engaging music instruction, fostering a love for music and developing students' technical and performance skills across a range of musical genres and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels.
• Teach theoretical and practical aspects of music, including reading music, music history, and composition.
• Instruct students in vocal and/or instrumental music, depending on expertise.
• Organize and direct school or community music performances such as concerts, recitals, and musical productions.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student creativity and expression.
• Maintain musical instruments and equipment in good condition.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license (if required by the institution or local education authority).
• Proven experience as a music teacher or professional musician.
• Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal performance.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance techniques.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students with varying musical abilities and interests.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital music tools and recording software.
• Ability to teach diverse music genres (classical, jazz, contemporary)
• Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instructions
