Murex BO - Accounting

• Participate as a stream member in Murex Accounting for change and project implementations
• Engage with business users to capture and document accounting treatment for financial products
• Analyze user requirements and assess feasibility within Murex
• Design and configure accounting rules, accounts, filters, and formulas
• Execute functional testing, capture outputs, reconcile results, and investigate discrepancies
• Ensure documentation aligns with defined project standards and guidelines
• Suggest alternative and scalable configuration approaches for efficiency
• Understand journal postings, balance calculations, and EOD processing within Murex
• Proficient in Murex GOM (Global Object Management) and multi-entity configurations
• Configure and support Murex accounting and reporting via Datamart
• Use tools like Excel for reconciliation and output comparison
• Knowledge of financial product lifecycle events—particularly in Rates, IRD, and FI Credit
• Familiar with Murex Reporting module setups

Nice to have:

• Experience in Murex Hedge Accounting module
• Working knowledge of SQL and Unix in Murex context
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)
