Manage SQL Server databases.
Provide production support and end-to-end problem resolution.
Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes.
Monitor systems health and performance.
Experience in Database high availability feature like ALWAYS ON
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
Provide support for critical production systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
Monitoring all the Alerts. Every alert DBA team member will respond with the initially response and followed by resolution email.
Troubleshooting the SQL jobs maintenance jobs failed
Troubleshooting the ETL jobs if incase job is failed.
Troubleshoot disk space alert.
Experience in Creating, maintaining and scheduled jobs.
Database backup and restore including monitoring and verifying backups and perform ad-hoc
backups and restore.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
Experience in MSSQL Built-in tools such as SQL Profiler, SQL Database Tuning Advisor, Query
Execution Plan, etc. as well as third party tools; Actifio/Foglight
Experience in creating and maintaining SQL Agent Jobs and Maintenance Plans
Knowledge on SSIS and SSRS
Microsoft SQL Server Version updates and patching activities.
Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly to team members and clients, verbally and in writing.
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server (including AlwaysOn)
Extensive knowledge on SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server database and SQL Server Database Administration.
Prior experience with Azure.
