Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering Analysis:

  • Work with clients to understand business processes, gather requirements, and define functional specifications for D365 FO solutions.
  • Analyse current business processes and propose efficient solutions within D365 FO.

System Configuration:

  • Configure D365 FO modules (such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement Sourcing, Manufacturing, etc) based on client requirements.
  • Design, test, and deploy configuration changes to meet the client s needs.

Implementation Integration:

  • Lead or participate in D365 FO implementations, ensuring best practices are followed during setup and integration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

End-User Training Support:

  • Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of the system.
  • Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot system issues, and provide solutions to enhance system performance.

Testing Quality Assurance:

  • Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the functionality meets the defined requirements.
  • Prepare test scripts and test cases, ensuring that all configurations and customizations work as intended.

Continuous Improvement Upgrades:

  • Advise on system enhancements, new features, and upgrades to improve business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest D365 FO developments and new features to guide clients on opportunities for improvements.

Required Skills Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with at least 3 years working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Experience with D365 modules ie Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions within D365 FO.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with D365 FO configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with D365 FO integrations (eg, Power BI, Azure, third-party applications).
  • Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO certifications (eg, MB-300, MB-310, MB-320) are preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in consulting or working with large enterprises or multinational clients.
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Experience with the full project lifecycle from design through to deployment and support.
