Job Description
Manage daily injection moulding operations to meet production targets and schedules.
Plan and execute production schedules based on customer orders and capacity.
Ensure smooth coordination of machines, moulds, raw materials, and manpower for efficient workflow.
Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and efficiency metrics to reduce downtime.
Supervise mould changeovers, process calibration, and parameter tuning for optimal output.
Troubleshoot defects (short moulding, flash, warpage, sink marks, cracks, colour variation) and implement corrective actions.
Maintain quality control standards for cosmetic and perfume packaging components.
Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination with the maintenance team.
Lead and develop the shop‑floor team including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Monitor raw material usage (PP, PET, ABS, HDPE, PC) and control wastage through regrind and recycling practices.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and track key performance indicators (OEE, rejection %, cycle time).
Coordinate with planning, QC, maintenance, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
