Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Mongo or OpenSearch DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience and possess the necessary hard skills to manage and maintain our databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and maintain Mongo or OpenSearch databases
• Ensure the databases are secure, highly available and performant
• Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance for applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures
• Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes
• Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience as a Mongo or OpenSearch DBA
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles
• Experience with database installation, configuration and maintenance
• Experience with database security and disaster recovery
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications in Mongo or OpenSearch are preferred
