Mold/Mould Maintenance Engineer/Junior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plastic moulds (Injection / Blow / Compression).
• Dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, and trial moulds as per maintenance schedule.
• Identify wear, damages, and defects in mould components (cores, cavities, slides, lifters, ejectors).
• Carry out polishing, spotting, fitting, and minor machining activities.
• Ensure proper functioning of cooling circuits, ejector systems, and moving parts.
• Assist in mould changeovers and machine trials during production.
• Maintain mould maintenance records, history cards, and spares consumption logs.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for mould-related issues.
• Follow safety standards and tool room best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce mould breakdowns and downtime.
