Molding Shift Engineer

We are seeking a Molding Shift Engineer to oversee and optimize the compression molding process during their shift. This role is essential for maintaining high production yields, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Monitor and optimize compression molding processes to maintain high production yields (typically >95%).
• Tool Changes: Execute and supervise rapid tool changes (RTC) as per production schedules.
• Quality Control: Inspect molded parts and review reports to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshooting: Respond to equipment alarms and resolve process-related issues.
• Maintenance: Perform daily mold cleaning, shutdown, and restart procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and submit production and quality data.
• Team Leadership: Train and guide junior technicians and support staff.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure workplace safety and adherence to environmental standards.

Skills Required

• Degree in Mechanical, Polymer, or Manufacturing Engineering / B.Tech or BE Any (Full Time).
• Experience in process optimization for molding operations.
• Knowledge of tool changes and maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
