Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- MIS Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Prepare and generate periodic MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to support business operations and decision-making processes.
- Analyze data trends and present insights on business performance, KPIs, and key metrics.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems to track financial and operational performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of MIS reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Data Management & Database Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases for sales, finance, inventory, HR, and other departments.
- Handle large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems.
- Regularly update and back up databases to prevent data loss or corruption.
- Backoffice Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for back-office functions including data entry, documentation, file management, and coordination.
- Ensure all records and documents are well-organized, secure, and readily accessible.
- Assist in managing administrative tasks, preparing presentations, and handling communication with internal teams.
- Process Improvement & Automation:
- Suggest and implement improvements to MIS reporting processes for more efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and streamline data management processes.
- Work with IT teams to develop or improve internal tools and systems related to MIS reporting and data management.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting:
- Work closely with department heads to define and track performance metrics relevant to the business unit.
- Support the creation and tracking of business goals, monitoring their alignment with broader company objectives.
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on discrepancies found in reports.
- Client and Vendor Coordination:
- Assist in managing relationships with vendors and clients as necessary for back-office support and MIS reporting tasks.
- Coordinate the process of order management, delivery schedules, and tracking.
- Handling Administrative & Operational Queries:
- Provide assistance in resolving operational issues and client queries related to data and reports.
- Work with various departments to gather and validate information for MIS reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in MIS reporting and back-office operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with report generation tools or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of business operations and performance metrics.
