Mines Surveyor / Surveyor – DGMS Qualified (Metal Certificate)

Mine Survey Operations

• Conduct underground and surface mine surveys including ventilation surveys and level transfers.
• Provide face center lines, side lines, and grade line markings as per daily progress.
• Perform volumetric calculations for mucking, fall areas, and excavation progress.
• Ensure haul road alignment, belt centering, and track line centering.
• Maintain accurate survey records, mine plans, and statutory drawings.
• Monitor and maintain haul road gradients and bench parameters.

Technical & Compliance Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DGMS regulations and mine survey codes of practice.
• Prepare and maintain statutory mine plans and sections as per mining regulations.
• Perform survey reconciliation and volumetric calculations for production accuracy.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and survey progress reports for HOD – Mines.
• Use Total Station and DGPS instruments for precise survey operations.
• Support mine quality control processes and approved mining designs.

Environmental & Impact Assessment

• Conduct environmental impact assessments for mining areas.
• Analyze air pollution and land impact caused by mining operations.
• Coordinate land restoration efforts with environmental professionals.
• Support waste disposal planning and compliance initiatives.
