Microsoft Power Platform

Kiya.ai is seeking a mid-level Power Platform Developer to transform business challenges into elegant, low-code solutions. You will lead end-to-end application delivery on the Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on integrating with enterprise systems, optimizing user experience, and ensuring quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Build Canvas & Model-driven Power Apps and reusable components.
• Orchestrate workflows efficiently with Power Automate, and where relevant, drive extensions in Dynamics 365.
• Maintain clean, well-documented solutions adhering to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices.

Requirements & Solution Design

• Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to capture user stories.
• Translate user stories into robust technical designs, wireframes, data models, and process maps.

UI & UX

• Create intuitive, responsive interfaces within Power Apps, ensuring adherence to Microsoft design guidelines and accessibility standards.

Integration & Data

• Connect applications seamlessly to SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SQL, Azure services, and third-party APIs.
• Implement data transformation, governance, and security measures within the Power Platform.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Define comprehensive test plans, write unit and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.
• Perform performance tuning and efficiently resolve defects across various environments (Dev, Test, Prod).

Release & Support

• Package and deploy solutions using Solutions, Azure DevOps, or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide post-deployment support and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for superusers.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven delivery of at least two full-cycle Power Platform projects in production environments.
• Strong grasp of Dataverse entities, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
• Hands-on scripting experience with PowerFX, formulas, JavaScript (for PCF / web resources), or Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum ceremonies and tools (Azure Boards / Jira).
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating technical jargon into clear business value.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience extending Dynamics 365 CE / F&O.
• Exposure to Power Virtual Agents or Copilot Studio.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, or API Management.
• Microsoft Certification (PL200, PL400, or equivalent).
• Prior work on governance frameworks, including CoE Starter Kit, environment strategy, or DLP policies.
