Microservices Developer (Core Java)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Microservices Developer proficient in Core Java to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build modular, high-performance backend services following best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain microservices using Core Java and related frameworks
• Design RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between services
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow Agile methodologies for software development and delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8 or above
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus
• Understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of security best practices in microservices
