Micro Finance Manager-Branch Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a network of Branch Managers to achieve business targets related to microfinance lending and group sales.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple branches, ensuring smooth functioning, compliance, and profitability.
• Drive performance in microfinance offerings such as MFI loans, joint liability group (JLG) lending, and group insurance products.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and monitor branch-level execution to meet regional goals.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory norms (RBI, NBFC-MFI guidelines) and internal compliance policies.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by promoting service excellence and trust-building.
• Conduct branch visits, performance reviews, and mentoring sessions for branch leadership teams.
• Collaborate with the product, risk, and compliance teams to implement new initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Graduate (any discipline); MBA/PGDM in Finance or Rural Management preferred
• Experience: 4–9 years in the banking, NBFC, or microfinance sector
• Prior experience in branch handling/management and team leadership is mandatory
• Deep understanding of microfinance operations, including MFI and group lending models
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka
