Merchant Acquiring - Risk Policy Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop risk control and management strategies to reduce the financial and legal impact on the client's business
• Design/ review acquiring risk policies for the Bank based on project/client inputs, market best practices, regulatory compliances etc.
• Liaison with the Client's risk, operations, compliance and relevant teams/ 3rd parties
• Support the Client teams in building/ finalizing their risk strategies and policies

Requirements:

• At least 10 of relevant experience in writing/deploying/ managing merchant acquiring risk policies
• A subject matter expert with knowledge of the financial services industry, including its governing regulations, reporting procedures, and record keeping guidelines.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, project management and collaboration skills
• Be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, with strong presentation and communications skills are essential
• Understand current market trends and developments pertaining to risk management principles
• Experience of working in Bank / Payment aggregator firm or intermediary background

Preferred Skillset: Policy writing, review, gap analysis, documentation & reporting activities is a big plus
