Job Description

Merchandising & Production Management

  • Review all product costing and pricing; provide spot costing for new developments.
  • Coordinate with domestic and international buyers and coach merchandising team for client interactions.
  • Lead the merchandiser team, ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality, and buyer requirements.
  • Track and manage order execution details from sampling to dispatch.
  • Prepare cost sheets and ensure approvals from buyers for all orders.
  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and correct quality.
  • Provide inputs to the design team for collections and new product development.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise and mentor merchandisers to enhance performance and client handling skills.
  • Prepare training and job orientation programs for new merchandising staff.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection of merchandising team members.

Buyer & Market Coordination

  • Maintain relationships with key buyers and monitor market trends.
  • Update production and coordinate sample development for buyers' requests.
  • Ensure compliance to budget and merchandising process standards.

Systems & Reporting

  • Work on company ERP system for order processing, procurement tracking, and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively in English and maintain accurate documentation.
