Medical representative

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Medical Representative to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
• Promote and sell the company's pharmaceutical products to medical professionals and institutions.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare providers.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products, including benefits and side effects.
• Manage territory effectively, ensuring coverage and customer engagement.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify potential opportunities and threats.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
• Making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or medical representative roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical products.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
