Medical Device Integration Engineer

Job Description:

• Integrate bedside medical devices such as vital signs monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, anesthesia machines, ECG/telemetry, and smart beds with EHR systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot HL7 messaging including ADT, ORU, and ORM along with flowsheet mappings.
• Support real-time clinical workflows and ensure accurate device-to-EHR data exchange.
• Configure and maintain serial-to-IP connectivity and converters for medical devices.
• Monitor device connectivity using SNMP, syslog, and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
