We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder specializing in Radiology to join our healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical coding principles and regulations, with a focus on accurately coding radiology procedures and diagnoses. This role is essential in ensuring proper reimbursement and compliance within the medical billing process.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Assign appropriate codes to diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding practices and changes in regulations.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and payers.
• Monitor and resolve any coding-related issues and denials.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in radiology.
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, RCC) is preferred.
• Proficient in coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
