Mechanical Rotary Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauling of rotary equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of Pumps, Compressors, and other machinery critical to the shutdown process.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and efficiency during operations.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with project guidelines and standards.

Educational Qualification

• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of rotary equipment in Refinery, Oil Gas, or Petrochemical plants.
• Turnaround maintenance experience is mandatory .

Skills Required

• Proficiency in maintenance and overhauling of Pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw types), Compressors, and Blowers.
• Experience in Extruder maintenance is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for rotary machinery.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis and performance monitoring techniques.
• Deep knowledge of safety protocols, with experience handling complex rotary systems in hazardous environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
