Mechanical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Applied knowledge (e.g., having done redesign for compliance, or compliance assessments) of product regulations such as REACH, RoHS, CE Marking, NFPA, EMC as it relates to capital equipment.
• Experience in applying SEMI safety standards to semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with a few current regulations and related program aspects that Lam has in place.
• Willingness to study available, but sometimes draft, information about a regulation to learn the basic technical topic and focus, and the requirements as they might relate to Lam products and operations.
• Comfortable with often changing or somewhat vague priorities.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 2 years and up to 6 years of experience designing semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Experience in project management, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities.
• Skilled at problem statements and SMART task descriptions.
• Very skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint.
• Adept at self-direction.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
