Master Planner/ Urban Planner

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing, Collating & Reviewing Site data - Survey Plan, Contour Data, Revenue records and digital/ GIS map, to finalize Site plan and boundaries as per ground conditions.
• Preparing design basis report, area calculations based on Site Analysis. Infrastructure assessment & requirements based on population density. Working knowledge of Infrastructure networks, Road sections showing services, landscape, lighting & coordinated Infra plans.
• Knowledge of Building byelaws, development control regulations. Conversant with statutory planning authorities like ITPI, Urban Design Guidelines (Streetscapes, Public Amenities, Universal access).
• Collaborates with project teams to develop and integrate MEP/ PHE plans. Coordinates with sub consultants PHE / Electrical / Plumbing to develop designs, resolve spatial conflicts and optimize system layouts w.r.t. Master Plan.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in preparing Master Plans, Detailed Lay out Plans for Urban / Regional areas, Integrated townships and Landscape Projects. Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between Design and Constructability. Presentation drawings / renders a must .

• Experience in Preparation of the submission drawings for the regulatory approval like TCP / Fire / Development Authority etc. an added advantage.
• Displays basic understanding of Contract Agreements to define work plan, scope, and schedule.
