Job Description

Strategic HR (Manufacturing Focus)

  • Lead Direct manpower planning and deployment across manufacturing sites.
  • Drive HR standardization and digitization across plant locations.
  • Implement best practices in employee productivity, training, and shopfloor engagement.
  • Partner with operations to align HR strategies with production goals.

Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Formulate and implement IR strategies for union and non-unionized environments.
  • Build proactive relationships with union representatives and manage collective bargaining.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, factory acts, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, legal cases, and maintain industrial harmony.

People Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze HR metrics from plants (attrition, absenteeism, productivity).
  • Provide regular dashboards to leadership with actionable insights.

Change Management & HR Projects

  • Lead HR transformation projects including digital HR, policy rollouts, and capability building.
  • Drive diversity & inclusion initiatives in manufacturing functions.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: MBA/MSW in HR, IR, or related field from a reputed institute
  • Experience: 1218 years of experience in HR with at least 5 years in a plant IR/HR leadership role
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, and IR frameworks
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership across multi-location manufacturing units
  • Familiarity with HRMS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)
