Direct Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester for our Investment Banking client, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of financial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.

• Test Design: Generate comprehensive test conditions, test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Test Planning & Closure: Participate in preparing Test Plans and Closure Reports for releases.
• Test Analysis: Thoroughly understand requirements for testing through documentation review, meeting attendance, and collaboration with the Project team.
• Functional Test Case Design: Design functional test cases for assigned requirements.
• Requirement Review: Conduct requirement reviews and walkthroughs with Business Analysts.
• Test Execution: Execute tests for both manual and automated regression, as well as functional testing.
• Reporting: Share daily, weekly, and monthly reports for both Automation & Manual testing cycles.
• Defect Analysis: Drive root cause analysis in the event of defect leakage or KPI breaches.
• Test Maintenance: Maintain regression tests and scripts.
• Peer Review: Perform QA checks and peer reviews of test scripts and test execution by other analysts.
• Efficiency Optimization: Optimize the regression test pack and improve execution efficiency in BAU (Business As Usual) releases.
• Process Adherence: Adhere to all testing processes and utilize standard templates during releases.
• Progress Reporting: Report progress to the Test Lead.
• Technical Testing: Perform testing using Unix commands and scripts.
• KPI Collation: Responsible for KPI collation for the OMR (Order Management System/Regulatory Reporting) application.
• Mentoring & Leadership: Mentor team members and lead testing releases.
